MONCTON - An overall update on the study progress, fish passage issues, and preliminary results of the hydrodynamic and sediment transport modelling of the Petitcodiac River and estuary will be the main topics of discussion at a public workshop on Saturday, November 6, 2004, at the Holiday Inn Express in Moncton.

The public review process is now underway regarding Draft Terms of Reference for the Modelling Component of the Petitcodiac River Causeway Environmental Impact Assessment. Comments from all interested parties are being actively encouraged and should be forwarded to the Study Team no later than December 12, 2003.

Hydrodynamic and sediment transport modelling will be the prime focus at an upcoming public workshop slated for Saturday, October 18,2003 at Polyvalente Mathieu-Martin, as part of the Petitcodiac River Causeway Environmental Impact Assessment. Similar workshops on the BioPhysical and Socio-Economic components of the EIA were held earlier in Moncton and Riverview.

The Petitcodiac River Causeway Environmental Impact Assessment Study Team will hold public 'Open Houses' in four separate communities across the Petitcodiac River watershed, beginning Monday September 22nd.
